Senior Auditor | Audit Department

Arosal is a boutique firm of chartered certified accountants, registered auditors, tax and business advisors. Our firm serves a wide range of local and international companies. As a senior auditor, your primary responsibility will be to provide independent, objective assurance over processes and functions within the business in accordance with the audit program.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and local regulations.
  • Perform risk assessments, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements to clients.
  • Preparation of financial statements with accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
  • Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and detailed reports.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior auditors during fieldwork.
  • Serve as a key contact for clients during engagements, ensuring professional communication and timely delivery.
  • Stay updated on changes in audit standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Support the Head of Audit in developing audit methodologies and ensuring consistent quality.

Required Skills & Experience

  • ACCA/ACA certification or being at the final stage of the ACCA studies
  • 3–5 years of audit experience in a professional services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards (ISA) and financial reporting frameworks (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven client-facing experience.
  • Proficiency in audit and accounting software, plus advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Team-oriented, with leadership potential and mentoring experience.
